CBS "Belt Buckle Series" Game Day #1

Come join us for a day filled with fun gymkhana games. Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Keyhole & Many More! There will be divisions for all: Lead Line, Beginner Youth, Youth (D1 & D2), Adult (D1, D2 & D3). There will be Day End Awards & Year End Belt Buckles! We will have a food booth & plans are in the works for a NEW RIDING ARENA to be ready by this event!

Divisions & Rules
· All classes will be placed 1st through 4th & be pointed 1st through 6th for Cold Brook Stables Belt Buckle Series year end awards.
· BEGINNER D1: Any rider 12 years old & under. Rider needs to be walk/trot or just learning to canter.
· BEGINNER D2: Any rider 12 years old & under. Rider needs to be walk/trot only. NO CANTERING. Cantering more than three (3) strides will result in disqualification of that class.
· YOUTH (D1 & D2): Any rider 18 years old & under.
· ADULT (D1, D2 & D3): Any rider 19 years old & over.
· D1, D2 or D3 divisions will be determined based on times for YOUTH & ADULT.
· A five (5) second penalty will be added for each obstacle that is knocked over during a run.
· Going off course during a run will result in DQ (disqualification) of that class.
· Day End & Year End awards will be calculated by the total points earned in each class by a horse/rider combination & totaled for each division.
· Year End awards will be determined by the total combined points of all classes offered in the series for a horse/rider combination. Each division will be placed Champion & Reserve Champion for the year.
· If you change divisions or horses during the series, your points will not carry over. Your points will start over in the new division or on the new horse.
· ALL Game classes offered at Cold Brook Stables Fun In The Sun Horse Show Series will also be pointed for Cold Brook Stables Belt Buckle Series year end awards.
· Day End & Year End divisions are: Lead Line, Beginner D1, Beginner D2, Youth D1, Youth D2, Adult D1, Adult D2 & Adult D3.
Stable Rules
· Proof of NEGATIVE Coggins and a Rabies Certificate is required on all horses. Both must be dated with in ONE YEAR of the show date.
· There will be a $40 service fee charge on all checks returned for insufficient funds.
· Cold Brook Stables, or any person connected with the planning of this event will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries to horses, riders, spectators, or property.
· Cold Brook Stables reserves the right to cancel, combine or split ANY CLASSES.
· Any protests, please see the show manager.
· It is encouraged that all riders wear an ASTM approved helmet at all times while mounted. Any age rider 18 years of age and under, MUST wear an ASTM approved helmet at ALL times. No exceptions.
· Long pants & footwear with a heel & smooth sole must be worn when on a horse.
· A 2 minute gate call is in effect. Please, notify the secretary’s booth at least TWO CLASSES IN ADVANCE if a hold is needed.
· The secretary’s booth must be notified of any scratched class at least TWO CLASSES IN ADVANCE, or exhibitor will have to pay for the class.
· The owner of any horse that is out of control or posing a danger will be asked to leave the ring and/or show grounds. In the same regard, anyone causing a disturbance will be asked to leave the show grounds as well.
· We ask that you do not bring your dogs, but if you must, they need to stay on a leash at your trailer. Absolutely NO DOGS allowed near the show ring area.
· Please bring a muck bucket & fork to clean up around your trailer.
· Any known kickers must wear a red ribbon in their tail to warn others.
· Excessive use of crop, bat, spurs, whips or reins will result in disqualification (DQ).
· There will be a food booth available on the show grounds for breakfast, lunch & snacks.
